Moonstone and Inca Quarry to Machu Picchu – Trek 5 Days

Moonstone inca trail to machupicchu

Moonstone Trek & Inca Quarry Trail to Machupicchu 5 D-4 N

The moonstone trek is one of the walk starting from the center of Cusco and heading to that place called Moonstone, which is located in the pampa in a rural village where you will appreciate the architecture. Indeed, you will see houses and terraces carved in rocks that were part of the agriculture at the time of the great genius who used to live in harmony with the nature.

During the walk, we will go through various local communities to finally arrive at a stone processing center, known as the pits of Ollantaytambo, which used to be one of the big temple in the Inca valley. We will then follow the famous stones along a path until the village of Ollantaytambo.

Trek Briefing

prior to the trek, you will be provided with extensive information. You will meet with your guide who will give you detailed information about the activities you will be engaging in and will clarify any existing concerns you may have
